On June 20, 2023, Vital Energy, Inc. (the "Company") posted to its website, www.vitalenergy.com, an investor presentation (the "Presentation"), including the below updates related to second-quarter 2023:

Second-quarter 2023 oil production expected to be at high-end of guidance range (40.0 - 43.0 MBO/d)
Second-quarter 2023 total production expected to be at high-end of guidance range (85.5 - 88.5 MBOE/d)
Second-quarter 2023 incurred capital expenditures expected to be at midpoint of guidance range ($155 - $175 million)
Previously announced acquisition of Forge Energy expected to close by end of June
